Russian Postcard and Stamp, Sierra Leone Stamps

Today I received a Covid postcard with Russian Covid stamp from Anna. She wrote that she hopes the virus stays only on cards and stamps in 2021 and also thanked me for being a nurse.

This type of postcard, of which now I have 2 (Czech Republic and Russia), were made by postcardbazaar and are no longer available for purchase so I missed getting some to send from the US sadly.

The stamp was issued by the Russian Federation post on October 30, 2020. It was designed by Kapranov, S. The description is as follows "The passport of the Public Health national project was approved on December 24, 2018. The key goals of the national project are to reduce the death rate of the population, eliminate the understaffing in healthcare organizations providing primary health care, ensure coverage of all citizens with preventive medical examinations, simplify the procedure for making an appointment with a doctor, and increase the volume of export of medical services.

The postal stamp provides an image of a mobile icu, a doctor against a hospital, and a logo from the brand book of the Public Health national project."

Also arriving today are 2 Covid stamp sheets from Sierra Leone. The first is a 6 stamp sheet "Fight Against Covid-19" that was released on June 12, 2020.

The second sheet is a 16 stamp set that is a very intricate drawing of activities regarding the virus. It was also released on June 12, 2020

As noted on Philatelic Pursuits, these stamps are handled by Stamperija and are not official postage stamps made by Sierra Leone. As a result some of these designs are seen with other countries names on them too. Stamperija makes stamps for many countries in Africa and several other locations.
