Two different Covid themed stamps arrived today!
The first is from Iran. Issued on March 17, 2020 it depicts the "National Heroes: Frontline Fighters of the Coronavirus". Philatelic Pursuits has a great write up on it including a video and news story. It was the first Covid-19 postage stamp issued in the world!
The second piece is a full sheet of Covid Stamps from Thailand. These were issued on August 14, 2020. There are 2 stamps in the set. The first one represents the work of healthcare workers in Thailand and the second one represents how Covid changed modern life in Thailand such as wearing masks and social distancing. The two stamps are connected by a representation of sending packages through the Thai post during the pandemic.
