Today's postcard comes from Alison in Greensboro, North Carolina. Her well wishes included thanking me for helping on the frontlines despite it potentially putting myself at risk. She is also happy to be working for a company that helps make scrubs and masks.
This card actually made me a bit teary. Despite there being a large sign on the hospital where I work saying "Heroes work here", it is not often that I think of myself as a hero. I didn't go into nursing to be considered a hero. It is nice to see that there are people out there who think we are 😊
